FAQ about Cyprus Taxi Booking

What is the detailed procedure to book a taxi with the MANUAL system? 1. COMPLETE THE QUOTATION FORM: You have to complete the Quotation Form to get a personalised quoation in your email. Please bear in mind that we usually require at least 48 hour notice in order to book a taxi for you but sometimes we are able to proceed late bookings so you can always try. Make sure that the dates and times are correct and the arrival time is NOT the time the plane departures from your country.

2. RECEIVE OUR EMAIL: You will receive an email reply within 12 hours (please check your junk mail folders as well because sometimes our emails end up there) with a final quote. Please make sure you have entered a valid email address. If you do not receive a responce from us within maximum 12 hours, please email us at:: info@acropolis-transport.com.

3. REPLY TO OUR EMAIL: You will have to reply to that email accepting the prices. If you do not reply, then the booking is not confirmed!

4. RECEIVE OUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL: An email with the confirmation will be sent to you again via email. If for any reason you do not get a reply then the booking is not confirmed! Please contact us as soon as possible for any changes. You can if you qant request to pay online. In this case we will send you more instructions If you do not send us anything we will assume that all details are correct. Please make sure that we have all your flight details and exact destination. When replying, do not delete/modify content of our previous correspondence. If for any reason you do not receive a reply to your email from us within 24 hours, please email us to investigate any problems.

5. NO NEED TO PAY ONLINE IF YOU DONT WANT TO: No advance / online payment is required. If you would like to pay before you arrive in Cyprus, you can contact us to arrange this for you.

6. MEET THE DRIVER AT THE AIRPORT: A taxi will be waiting for you at the airport, with the taxi driver waiting for you with a name board. If you have any problems finding the driver you can ask anyone at the airport to point you to an Acropolis Vassos Taxi Office staff or you can call our Larnaca offices at: 24622000 . If you have a lost luggage and/or you see that it is getting you long to exit please either contact our driver who is waiting or call our offices. The driver will be holding a name board.

7 . FLIGHT DELAY? NO PROBLEM! : Even if the flight is delayed, the driver will be at the airport at the new time of arrival at no EXTRA cost. If you do know that your flight will be delayed, please inform us in any way.

8. PAY THE DRIVER: You will have to pay the driver picking you up from the airport for both journeys (if you have requested a return journey as well). Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards.

9. DEPARTURE TRANSFER: Upon departure, the driver will be at the meeting point 5 minutes prior the departure time.

How do I pay for my transfers? By cash on the end of the transfer or Online via credit card or paypal. No advance / online payment is required. If you would like to pay before you arrive in Cyprus, you can contact us to arrange this for you. You will have to pay the driver picking you up from the airport for both journeys (if you have requested a return journey as well). Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards in the cars.

Are there any extra charges on the calculated prices? No, there aren't. The prices that appear on our web-site are final prices.

Can I get any confirmation of my reservation? Yes, you can. We will send you and email with your reservation facts, so you will have a justification of your reservation.

What will happen if my flight is delayed? Don't worry. For us it is not a problem. We control your flight by internet and by phone. Even if the flight is delayed, the driver will be at the airport at the new time of arrival at no EXTRA cost. If you do know that your flight will be delayed, please inform us in any way. If for any reason you do not receive a reply to your email from us within 24 hours, please email us to investigate any problems.

How do I book a return taxi? By filling in the same form you may reserve a return taxi. (This is optional).

Are the prices per taxi or per person? All our prices are per taxi. We do not arrange for shared taxis.

What currency do we accept?? All our prices are in Euros. If you would like to pay (or get a quote) in other currency please let us know and we can arrange this for you.

How can you modify a booking? You can always modify a booking via email or telephone. Just make sure you give us plenty of notice - at leat 48 hours. Please make sure that we have all your details. How can you CANCEL a booking? You can always cancel a booking via email or telephone. Just make sure you give us plenty of notice - at leat 48 hours. Paid booking are not refundable if cancelled. I am going to a villa. Is that a problem? There is no problem at all. We provide transportation to any place in the whole island. If you are going to a villa, we would like to have detailed directions /map on how to get there and/or the telephone number of the owner of the villa if they are in Cyprus.

Do you take late bookings? We usually require at least 24 hour notice in order to book a taxi for you but usually we are able to proceed late bookings so you can complete the form and we will get back to you.

Do you provide transport to/from the North part of the island? We provide transportation to and from any place in the whole island.You have to complete the Quotation form to get a personalised quoation in your email. I am interested about wedding transportation We provide transportation from your accommodation to the church or town hall and then to the reception or back to your accommodation. The wedding car will be a Mercedes and will be one of the following:1 , 2 , 3, We also offer a lot of decoration solutions. We can also arrange for the transportation of your guests with busses and mini busses.

Is there an additional credit card fee? Yes, there is a 3% credit card charge.

How will I locate the driver? Your driver will meet you as you enter the arrivals hall, with a sign showing your name.

What about child seats, golf clubs, skis etc.? Optional extras such as these can be added during the booking process.
